Spring Harbor Hop 2016

The summer season is steadily picking up steam at the Lake of the Ozarks. This weekend marks the return of the first big big boating event of the year – Spring Harbor Hop. If you’ve been itching to get back out on the water, now is your chance! Deputy & Mizell, LLC is here to provide you with all the details.

19th Annual Spring Harbor Hop

Date: Saturday, May 7th, 2016
Time: 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM (varies by location) to 7:00 PM
Location: Several participating locations around the Lake of the Ozarks

Back for its seventeenth year, the Harbor Hop is the perfect excuse to finally get your boat back out on the water. Visit your choice of more than forty locations around the Lake to put together a complete poker hand for your chance to win big prizes. Here’s a quick snapshot of the basic ground rules for the event.

  • Sign up at any location to get your first card. There is an optional donation of $20 per seven-card hand.
  • Pick up additional cards at the checkpoints of your choice.
  • You can purchase an 8th card for $5.
  • Players may enter the contest more than once (i.e., have multiple poker hands).
  • Poker hands must be turned in by 7:00 PM in order to qualify.

The Prizes

 
Every qualifying hand will have the chance to win cash prizes. Prize amounts will be based off of the total amount of entry donations. Prize allocations are as follows:
  • 1st Place: 10%
  • 2nd Place: 9%
  • 3rd Place: 8%
  • 4th Place: 7%
  • 5th – 10th Place: 5% each
  • 4 Worst Hands: 4% each
  • Random Drawing for 10 Hands: 2% each
 
If there is a tie, winners will share the allocated percentage. Winners will be notified via mail. A section winner will also be recognized in addition to the regular prize winners. In order to be eligible to be a section winner, a player must collect all seven cards within one of the four sections.
