65th Annual Dogwood Festival

The Dogwood Festival is one of the Lake Area’s best annual events, and it his highly anticipated by both locals and vacationers alike. With everything from pageants to craft shows to parades, the Dogwood Festival always has something for everyone. As proud members of the Lake of the Ozarks community, our mid-Missouri attorneys are excited to give you all the details on this wonderful event. This year, the Dogwood Festival is scheduled for April 16-18, 2015.

Pageants

Pageants are a wonderful way for young people to gain interpersonal skills, confidence, and poise. The Dogwood Festival hosts several different pageants, including:
  • Baby Contest (up to 4 years old)
  • Little Mr. & Miss Contest (5-8 years old)
  • Junior Miss Contest (9-12 years old)
  • Teen Miss Contest (13-15 years old)
  • Miss Dogwood Festival (16-22 years old)
Participants have already been selected for these pageants for 2015, but everyone is encouraged to attend and cheer on the contestants! 
 

Craft Fair

If you like supporting local artists, you definitely won’t want to miss the craft fair. Vendors come from all over the area to display their work. Products can include anything from handmade soaps and jewelry to home decor and food items. It’s always an impressive spread, and this year should be no exception!
 

Parade

The Dogwood Festival Parade is a favorite among children and adults alike. Scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 18th, the parade will feature businesses and organizations from all over the Lake Area. The parade will wind its way through downtown Camdenton. Don’t miss out!

Carnival

The carnivals is always a huge hit among both locals and tourists. The carnival is scheduled to be open at the following times:
  • Thursday, April 16th ~ 5:00-10:00 PM
  • Friday, April 17th ~ 5:00-10:00 PM
  • Saturday, April 18th ~ 12:00-10:00 PM
Wristbands are available for $20, which will allow unlimited participation in all of the carnival activities. Your little ones are sure to be entertained for hours!
