We pride ourselves on maintaining a dedicated staff of skilled, energetic, and talented attorneys in Mid-Missouri. Recently, we welcomed a new attorney to our firm: a young man named Sean P. Randall. Sean has only been with us for a few months, but he has already proven himself to be a valuable asset to our team. Keep reading to learn more about Sean and what brought him to Deputy & Mizell, LLC.

Sean P. Randall, Attorney At Law

Sean was born and raised in St. Louis County, Missouri. He grew up playing baseball and also had a love being on stage in school theater and choir productions. He graduated from Marquette High School in 2004. Later that year, he enrolled and began attending the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. While at Mizzou, Sean was a member of Sigma Tau Epsilon social fraternity, holding various leadership positions in the fraternity, and actively participated in a variety of other student groups and activities.

In 2008, Sean graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. For the next two years, Sean remained in Columbia and worked as an assistant for a local criminal defense attorney. During his time there, Sean developed a passion for law and a desire to help members of his community whenever a legal issue arose.

Following his newfound passion, Sean applied for and was accepted to the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Sean participated in numerous activities including:

  • National Trial Advocacy Competition in Lansing, Michigan
  • National Appellate Advocacy Competitions in Boston, Massachusetts and New York City
  • Briefing and arguing an unemployment benefits case before the Missouri Court of Appeals in Kansas City
  • The Midwest Innocence Project
  • Internships with the American Civil Liberties Union and the Public Defender’s office in Kansas City.

In 2013, after graduating from law school and becoming a member of the Missouri Bar, Sean went to work at the Missouri Public Defender System in Lebanon, Missouri. As a trial attorney in their office, Sean handled every type of a criminal case – from misdemeanor traffic offenses to manslaughter cases – from the initial appearance through trial proceedings.

After nearly three years at the Public Defender System, Sean couldn’t have been more excited to join Deputy & Mizell. He enjoys the practice of law and the opportunity to assist those who are experiencing complex legal issues as they arise in their lives. Sean’s goal as an attorney is to provide the absolute best legal representation for his clients, providing zealous advocacy on their behalf to protect their rights and interests and achieving the very best outcome while being honest, direct, and forthright.
