Safe Driving Tips for Halloween 2020

Halloween 2020 is upon us. This is such a great time of year for the community because so many businesses around here pitch in and put on a ton of festive events for residents and visitors to enjoy. Many residents of the Lake of the Ozarks will also give out candy to trick-or-treaters venturing to local houses in the area. That being said, it is very important that you are especially careful about driving this time of year. Watch for trick-or-treaters and drive safely. Our personal injury attorneys at the Lake of the Ozarks are here to give you a few safe driving tips for Halloween 2020 in this week’s blog. If you or someone you love has been injured by a negligent driver, please call our Lebanon Law Firm today. We can be reached at 417-532-2191.

Pay attention and avoid all distractions while driving.

These days there are SO many potential distractions while driving. For example, some drivers may do the following while driving:

It is INCREDIBLY important that you avoid distractions while driving, especially around Halloween. It can only take SECONDS for an awful accident to occur.

Never under any circumstances drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Driving while intoxicated or under the influence is NEVER  a good idea under any circumstance. The consequences are simply too great and it’s not worth it. If you’re out at a local Halloween party and end up having too many drinks, call a Cab or a friend or family member to come and pick you up to take you home.
