Boat Safely To and From Aquapalooza 2019!

Watch your surroundings carefully.

As we said earlier, this is one of the biggest boating events at the Lake of the Ozarks, which means there will likely be several people in the water and many boats in the area, so it is extremely important that you pay attention. It doesn’t take long for tragedy to strike, so be aware of the no wake zones. Boat at a steady pace and watch for swimmers and other boaters. Other boaters may not be paying attention, so know how to react in situations like that.

Avoid boating while intoxicated at all costs.

If you know you are going to be drinking at this event, then do yourself a favor and just designate a sober captain from the beginning that you know won’t drink. Water patrol will likely be out, especially with a large event like this going on and it just isn’t worth getting a BWI over. Not only that, you would be putting your life and the lives of those around you in danger.

We hope you enjoyed learning more about this fun event! Deputy and Mizell wishes you not only a FUN time at Aquapalooza 2019, but also a SAFE time. Remember, if you or someone you love has been injured in a boating accident at the Lake of the Ozarks, please give us a call. We can help.
